Hunan Liuyi New Materials Technology Co., Ltd.'s aerogel thermal insulation coating has been selected for the "Green Technology Promotion Catalogue (2024 Edition)" by the eight major national departments.

    Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission and eight other ministries issued the notice of the "Green Technology Promotion Catalogue (2024 Edition)". The aerogel insulation and heat insulation coating technology of my company, Hunan Liuyi New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., as the only aerogel green technology selected in the "Catalogue", has been officially included in the category of efficient energy-saving equipment manufacturing industry. 

    Aerogel thermal insulation coating refers to the uniform dispersion of micrometer-sized aerogel powder in a binder, and during production, the aerogel's nano-porous structure is perfectly retained, forming a stable micro-nano system of gas-solid-liquid. It combines the aerogel characteristics such as thermal insulation, sound insulation, lightweight, selective adsorption and desorption, plasmon excitation, etc., and also has the coating properties of convenient construction, good appearance, waterproof, anti-corrosion, resistance to aging, high adhesion, etc., making it a safe and green new coating. 

    Hunan Liuyi New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2018 in Jiuhua National Economic Development Zone, Xiangtan City, Hunan Province. The company adheres to the concept of continuous innovation and development, leading the development of new quality productive forces. It collaborates with the aerogel research team of Central South University and the research team of Xiangtan University, dedicated to the research and application of aerogel coatings, and has developed a series of functional coating products with functions such as thermal insulation, fire prevention, waterproofing, sound insulation, and noise reduction, which are widely applied in building exterior and interior wall thermal insulation, industrial equipment thermal insulation for energy conservation and anti-scald protection, industrial plant thermal insulation and fire prevention, and agricultural greenhouse thermal insulation and moisture retention, etc. 

    In the future, for the green technologies listed in the "Promotion Catalogue", the National Development and Reform Commission will, in conjunction with relevant departments, organize activities such as technology roadshows based on national ecological days, national energy conservation publicity weeks, national low-carbon days, and environmental days, etc., to enhance publicity and promotion efforts. All relevant departments, industry associations, and central enterprises are encouraged to actively promote the application and popularization of green technologies within the "Promotion Catalogue". The role of national green technology trading centers and other platforms will be fully leveraged to organize "green technology service enterprises" and other green technology outcome promotion activities, and promote the transformation and industrialization of green technologies. For projects that meet the conditions and undergo upgrading and transformation using green technologies listed in the "Catalogue", central budgetary investment will be actively supported. Financial institutions are encouraged to provide financing support for green technologies within the "Catalogue" through green credit, green bonds, carbon emission reduction support tools, etc.
