On June 23rd, the 2025 Energy Conservation Publicity Week in Hunan Province was inaugurated at the Liudian Sports Center. The event was jointly organized by the Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Liudian Municipal People's Government. During the inauguration ceremony, speeches delivered by the Party Secretary and Vice Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission, Zhou Haibing, and the Director of the Environmental and Resources Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, Wang Shancheng, at the National Energy Conservation Publicity Week Inauguration Ceremony were broadcast live. The Party Secretary and Deputy Governor of the Provincial Committee, Zhang Yingchun, made an important批示 on the Energy Conservation Publicity Week activities. The Deputy Secretary-General of the Provincial Government， Mao Zhaohui， announced the official start of the Energy Conservation Publicity Week. Leaders such as Director of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission， Du Zhonghua， and Liudian City Committee Member and Deputy Mayor， Xie Xuelong， attended the event and delivered speeches.

    In accordance with the unified deployment of the state, from June 23rd to 29th, it is the National Energy Conservation Publicity Week. The theme of the event is "Energy Conservation for Efficiency Enhancement and New Leadership", aiming to deeply implement the comprehensive energy conservation strategy, carry out energy conservation work at a higher level and with greater quality, widely conduct energy conservation and carbon reduction publicity and education, promote the formation of green and low-carbon production and lifestyle, and promote the comprehensive green transformation of economic and social development.

    The Provincial Development and Reform Commission has released the policy of supporting large-scale equipment renewal and promoting the recycling of consumer goods in Hunan Province to expand the scope in 2025. It has also introduced the national and provincial "Green Technology Promotion Catalogue". The Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology has released the recommended catalogue of green, low-carbon advanced applicable technologies, equipment and products in the industrial and information technology field of Hunan Province (2025 edition). Enterprises in cities such as Zhuzhou, Xiangtan, Yiyang, and Loudi, including Hunan Liuyi New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., showcased the achievements of energy-saving and carbon reduction green technologies. Representatives from relevant public institutions, enterprises and schools in Loudi City initiated the initiatives of energy-saving and carbon reduction, as well as reducing food waste. The Green Low-Carbon Action Photography Exhibition, the Energy-Saving and Carbon Reduction Achievements Exhibition, the "Green Move Hunan" Health Run Activity, and the "Comprehensive Saving, Smartly Guarding Xiangxi" themed AI promotional video were all highly entertaining. 

    The launch ceremony of this energy conservation publicity week actively practiced zero-carbon event organization, fully achieving the "carbon neutrality" of the event, and issued a joint appeal to the entire society: Start from yourself, start from the little things, start from this moment, strive to be a promoter of energy conservation and efficiency improvement, a practitioner of "new" leadership, and a promoter of green and low-carbon development. This will add a more beautiful green foundation to the chapter of China-style modernization in Hunan.
