Recently, the Building Energy Conservation Service Center of the Housing and Construction Bureau of Xiangtan City, Hunan Province, organized and held an expert argumentation meeting for the application of the ETU aerogel insulation coating system in the 7th and 8th apartment buildings, teachers' transitional housing, and the second canteen of Hunan Geely Automobile Vocational College, which is part of the overall relocation project of the college.

    This expert review meeting specifically examined the application of the aerogel insulation and heat preservation coating system produced by Hunan Liuyi New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Sixi Company") in the energy-saving and insulation engineering construction of some buildings of the overall relocation project of Hunan Geely Automobile Vocational College. After listening to the overall reports from the construction unit, the construction company and Sixi Company, the members of the pilot project leadership group and the experts conducted targeted questions and inquiries. Sixi Company responded one by one, and the experts affirmed the aerogel insulation and heat preservation coating system currently being piloted and applied by Sixi Company.

    Xiangtan Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau's Party Committee member and deputy director Xie Ping stated that under the conditions stipulated in the "Notice of Xiangtan Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau on Carrying Out Pilot Work for the Application of New Building Energy-saving Materials (Products)", support should be given to the pilot application of new materials (products), and at the same time, supervision of the pilot projects should be strengthened to ensure the effective implementation of energy-saving materials and green building standards. 

    After expert review, the meeting approved the application for the new product application pilot project submitted by Hunan Geely Automobile Vocational College. Next, the Building Energy Conservation Service Center of Xiangtan Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau will optimize services, strengthen the promotion of the application of new building energy-saving materials (products), strictly implement the inspection system for energy-saving projects, further standardize the management of green building labels, and contribute to the construction of Xiangtan's "dual carbon" city.
